Golf Simulator

PAR Physical Therapy has a golf simulator at each location. A golf simulator is a great way to practice, and when you use it with a physical therapist it can also help you play with less pain, prevent injuries and get more power and consistency in your swing. Both clinics, in Myrtle Beach and Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, have one.

Hit balls indoors, with your body being watched too

Golf should be enjoyable, but stiffness, pain or poor swing mechanics can hold you back. On the simulator your physical therapist uses the feedback to see how your body’s mobility and strength affect your game, then builds a plan to improve flexibility, strength and technique.

  • Practice in a comfortable, safe indoor setting
  • Get real-time feedback on your swing and body mechanics
  • Learn how your mobility and strength affect your game
  • Receive a personalized plan

Four things your PT can do with simulator feedback

Better swing mechanics

Spot what is holding you back, such as tight hips, weak core muscles or poor posture, and give you exercises to correct them.

More flexibility and mobility

Tight shoulders, hips or back can make your swing feel restricted. Stretches and mobility drills can help it feel smoother and more natural.

A stronger, more powerful swing

Golf-specific strengthening exercises to help you hit with more power and stay stable through the round.

Fewer aches and injuries

Help preventing and recovering from common golf problems, such as back pain, golfer’s elbow (elbow pain) or a sore wrist.

Is the simulator right for you?

The casual golfer

What you can get out of it

  • A more consistent, confident swing
  • Playing with less pain and stiffness

  • A game plan to enjoy golf for years to come
